A small studio for work that has to be right.
PixelMunch is an independent design and technology studio. We help ambitious teams make brands, products and stories with craft you can feel.

Designers and engineers who never learned to stay in their lane.
We started PixelMunch because the best work we had ever made came from rooms where strategy, design and code were argued over together, not passed down a line. So we built a studio that works that way by default.
Today we partner with founders, product teams and marketing leaders who care how things feel as much as how they perform. We keep the team small and senior on purpose, so the people you meet are the people who do the work.
We work from New York with teams wherever they are, and every project gets the same small group from first conversation to launch.

Principles
What we believe about the work
Craft is a decision
Quality is not a phase at the end. It is the hundred small choices we make every day, and we make them on purpose.
Say the true thing
We tell clients what we think, early and kindly. Clear feedback saves more projects than clever decks.
Make room to play
The best ideas show up when there is space to try something odd. We protect that space in every project.
Design and engineering, in the same room
The products people love rarely come from a relay race. They come from small teams where the person drawing the interface can ask the person building it a question and get an answer the same afternoon. That is how we work. Strategists, designers and engineers share one plan, one set of design tokens and one standard for done. Ideas get tested in the browser while they are still cheap to change, and the details that make something feel inevitable get the time they deserve. It is slower for the first week and much faster for every week after.
Have something worth making well?
Tell us what you are building. We will tell you honestly how we can help, and how we would approach it.
